Currently in his 19th year of being a General Manager and 6th year as Head Coach of Stony Brook, Chris has been a large reason why the team has become one of the most dominant non varsity college hockey programs in the country. Chris, also known as the “nuts and bolts” of the team, does all of the recruiting, scheduling, and organizing the team requires during the season. Chris has not only been a General Manager and Coach of the team he was also a player from 1992 to 1996. He ended his Stony Brook career with his selection to the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference all-star team in his senior year. Chris was born in Portland Maine and after only living there for one year moved to Long Island where he played Hockey at Farmingdale High School and for the Junior Islanders. Chris received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management from Stony Brook in May of 1996. Upon graduation Chris took a job with Computer Associates, where he worked until 2003. Currently he is National Account District Sales Manager for Automatic Data Processing (ADP).
Colin will be going into his 6th year as an Assistant Coach for the Seawolves. Colin played all 4 years of his college hockey career at Stony Brook and with the last two being the teams Captain. During his playing career at Stony Brook he was known as a very tough stay at home defenseman who would always put the team first. Colin original is from Columbia, Maryland where he played for the Junior Nationals of the AJHL and for the Little Capitals of the MJHL. Today Colin resides in Medford, NY with his wife Erika and is a sales representative for Medline Industries.
Currently entering his 3rd season as an Assistant Coach and Equipment manager, Wes manages the forwards and any equipment needs for the team including sharpening skates for the players. Wes played at Stony Brook from 2010-2014, serving as an Assistant Captain his Junior year and as a Co-Captain his senior year. As a player Wes was known as a gritty and talented forward with a quick release who could excel against opposing teams top lines by shutting them down. Wes finished his career at Stony Brook helping the team make their first Final Four appearance at the ACHA Division One National Tournament. He was also selected as an ACHA Divsion One All Star. Originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania Wes played his Junior Hockey for the New Jersey Rockets in the AJHL and the Janesville Jets of the NAHL. After graduating in 2014 with a Business Management degree Wes took a position with ADP as a Small Business Services District Sales manager. Wes currently works as an Account manager for Union Beer Distributors based out of Brooklyn, Ny
Chris Testa is in his second year as Stony Brook’s goaltending coach. In 2015-16, Chris brought the program a wealth of knowledge and experience at the goaltending position having played four years of NCAA hockey at UMass-Boston and three years semi-professionally (FHL and SPHL). Upon his playing career, Chris joined Pro Crease Goaltending as a head instructor and is now part owner of the LLC. In addition to his obligations to various youth travel hockey organizations the last five years, Chris has spent time scouting for USA Hockey on a national level as well as providing goaltending instruction for the USA Hockey paralympic sled hockey team from 2013-16.
Chris currently resides in Glen Cove, NY with his wife Marisa. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson for Coldwell Banker, the country’s largest real estate firm.”
