Seawolves learn from their mistakes and bounce back!

This past weekend your #9 Stony Brook Seawolves took on league rival #14 Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. The first game took an unfortunate path for Stony Brook as they lost by a score of 8-2. Calello tallied a power play goal for the Seawolves early in the second and Pepe got his first of the season from the red line late in the 3rd but that is all the offense the Seawolves could muster on Friday night. The following night the Seawolves were determined to change the script from their hard loss the night before. With determination, came success as well as a solid 5-3 win to split the weekend. With goals from Murphy, Linker, Bernes, Calello, and Crockett the Seawolves were just too much to handle for the Liberty Flames.
Stony Brook’s next home games will be this Saturday and Sunday against division opponent, the Syracuse University Orangemen. The two teams will meet Saturday night at 8:30pm and Sunday at 3:30pm. Come down and cheer on your Seawolves!
