With all the final regular season games completed throughout the entire ACHA, Stony Brook finished the regular season with a record of 28-2-2 and ranked #2 in the country. The Seawolves will head to Chicago, Illinois on Thursday morning for the 2016 ACHA Mens Division I National Tournament. After touching down in Chicago the team will practice in the afternoon and await the winner of the University of Illinois vs. Syracuse University game. The Seawolves will take on the winner Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm CST. If the Seawolves advance they will play Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm CST against the winner of the Ohio vs. Lebanon Valley College game. The semi finals will be on Monday and the championship will be played Tuesday night. This marks the 16th time the Seawolves have made this invite only National tournament in the past seventeen years. The Seawolves are looking to capture not only their first National Championship but the Universities as well.
