The Seawolves get ready for the start of the second half of their season this weekend against their rival from Virginia, Liberty University Flames. Stony Brook goes in to this weekend ranked 5th in the country and 1st in their division. In their first meeting this year, Stony Brook traveled to Lynchburg, VA for a two game home stand. The first game the Seawolves pulled out a tight win by beating the Flames 3-1. The second game Stony Brook was plagued with penalties, giving up five power play goals and lost the game 8-4. The Seawolves will host Liberty this Saturday at 8:30pm and Sunday at 12:00pm to finish up the season series. All games played at The Rinx in Hauppauge, 660 Terry Rd.
