Stony Brook, NY – Stony Brook Hockey announced the complete schedule for the 2024-25 regular season today, beginning at home against the NYU Violets on Friday, October 4.
The upcoming season features a total of 30 games, 15 of which will be home games played at The Rinx in Hauppauge.
Highlights of the 2024-25 schedule include:
New Start Times: All Friday night games will begin at 7:30 p.m. this season and a majority of Saturday night games will start at 7:00 p.m.
Home Cooking: Seven of the Seawolves’ first 10 games will be played at home, including five during the month of October.
Sunday Matinees: This season Stony Brook will play five Sunday afternoon home games, perfect for young families and group outings!
Hosting the Champs: The 2024 ESCHL Champion Drexel Dragons come to town twice this season, on Saturday, November 16 and Saturday, February 22.
Finishing Strong: Stony Brook ends the regular season with a three-game homestand, consisting of a two-game set against the Syracuse Orange before taking on Drexel in the season finale.
Theme and Eras Nights: Details about our special Theme Nights and brand new Eras Nights will be announced in the coming weeks, introducing unique elements to an already exciting schedule.
