Right from the game’s opening shift, the Seawolves had a sense of determination as they faced off against the defending national champion,Lindenwood Lions. After dominating the first period it was Freshman, Devon Palmieri who buried a rebound from Frank Sherding’s point shot, on he power play. Heading into the second period with a 1-0 lead, Senior captain JT Hall found the back of the net to put the Seawolves up 2-0. However, Shortly after Lindenwood was able to squeeze one past goalie Payne Yoder, to cut the lead to 2-1. It was not until halfway through the third period when Lindenwood got a fortuitous bounce off a skate in front to tie the game at two. With less than a minute to go in the game, Junior Defenseman Frank Coscia ripped a slapshot to put the Seawolves ahead 3-2 and push the Seawolves into the elite 8 of the National Tournament! The Seawolves move onto play the #3 ranked University of Ohio at 2:00pm. Lets go Seawolves!!
