Stony Brook takes on NYU for the battle of New York!

Your 10th ranked Stony Brook Seawolves took on the West Chester Rams this past weekend hoping to bounce back after last week’s bad loss to #1 Adrian. The Seawolves came to play Saturday night putting up five goals in the first period and finishing the game with a total of thirteen by the final buzzer. Fifteen Seawolves found their way onto the score sheet with contributions from all four lines and their back end. Yoder played an uncontested sixty minutes facing eleven shots and receiving his third shutout on the year. On Sunday afternoon, the Seawolves seemed to lack the intensity they showed the night before. After going down 1-0 in the first period, The Seawolves bounced back with goals from Kevin Murphy, Devon Palmieri, Frank Coscia and Joey Slevin. This brought the Seawolves to an overall record of 14-3-1 going into their final two games of the first semester against NYU. Friday night Stony Brook will hit the road for their first game of the season series against NYU and will be returning to the Rinx for their next home game on SaturdayDecember 9th at 8:30PM.
