Two more Seawolves sign professional contracts

It is with great pleasure to announce that senior forwards JT Hall and Chris Stemke have signed a professional contract with Tev Miesbach! Tev Miesbach plays in the Oberliga league based out of Germany. The dynamic duo of Stemke and Hall signed their contracts and are taking their talents to Germany starting the 2017-2018 season. This year Hall and Stemke led the Seawolves to the quarterfinals of the national tournament. When Hall joined the Seawolves in the 2013 season head Coach, Chris Garofalo knew he had something special. In his four years at Stony Brook Hall won 3 ESCHL championships, made it to the final four of the national tournament twice, and a finals appearance once. He was also awarded the ACHA’s player of the year for the 2015-2016 season and is a finalist for the 2016-2017 season as well. Stemke, who joined the Seawolves in the 2015-2016 season after deciding to leave the NCAA lacrosse team at Stony Brook, found his way back to the rink. During his rookie year Stemke struggled to find the offensive production the coaches were looking for. However, after intense training during the offseason, Stemke came back with a vengeance to prove to himself and everyone he can be better. Stemke worked his way to the first line and was the second leading scorer on the team behind Hall. We could not be more proud of these two young men who are about to turn their dreams into a reality. On behalf of the entire Seawolf organization we would like to wish Stemke, Hall and the entire Tev Miesbach organization the best of luck in the upcoming 2017-2018 season!
