Where do the Seawolves play?

All Stony Brook home games are played at The Rinx in Hauppauge, NY. Located just north of Exit 58 on the Long Island Expressway, Seawolves games are centrally located and easy to get to. For directions to The Rinx, click here.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, parking at The Rinx is free! 

What time should I get to the game?

The doors open about a half hour before puck drop. Fans can enter as soon as they purchase their ticket from the Ice Crew and watch warmups before the start of every home game.

How much do tickets cost?

Seawolves tickets are very affordable and well worth the price of admission. Our Ice Crew facilitates ticket sales at the door on game days and sales are cash only. Tickets cost $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children, and Stony Brook students enter for free with a valid Student ID card! Season tickets are also available for a limited time at the start of each season.

How long does a game last?

A Seawolves game typically lasts about two-and-a-half hours including warmups. While the duration can vary, we recommend planning accordingly so that you won’t miss any big moments!

What should I wear to the game?

It can get cold in the rink, so we encourage you to dress in layers. Some fans prefer to bring towels/blankets to sit on and stay warm. Don’t forget to Rock The Red!

Are there assigned seats?

No, tickets are general admission and you can sit anywhere that you prefer. Seawolves fans often sit in the section closest to the door and fans of the road team tend to sit on the opposite side which is closer to the away bench. Please remain alert and aware of flying pucks which may leave the playing area.

SPECTATORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO STAND ALONG THE GLASS, ALL FANS ENTER AT THEIR OWN RISK.

Is merchandise available at home games?

Yes, our Ice Crew will be set up with a merchandise table at all home games. Sales are cash only and merchandise is available while supplies last.

Can I get food and drinks at the game?

Yes, concessions can be purchased at the Time Out Cafe at The Rinx. There are also vending machines available in the building.

What other entertainment is there at games?

Our Ice Crew provides in-game entertainment for fans. There is a t-shirt toss during the first intermission and fans can play Chuck-A-Puck in the second intermission. You can also try your luck in raffles and 50-50 drawings, with the winners announced during the third period of each game.

Our children would love to meet their favorite players, how can they?

Children are allowed to meet the players in the locker room after every home game. Fans can wait outside our locker room door and will be allowed in by team personnel shortly after the end of the game. Players will be available for autographs and pictures.
