Seawolves ranked 4th in the country going into break!

With the first half of the 2014-2015 season wrapped up, the Seawolves are currently ranked 4th in the Country going into the second half of the season. This ranking is the second best Stony Brook has had this year, the Seawolves best ranking thus far was 3rd in the nation. The Seawolves currently sit behind #1 ranked Arizona State, #2 University of Central Oklahoma and #3 Ohio. Of the top three teams, the Seawolves hosted ASU earlier this year and split the weekend series. ASU won the first game and Stony Brook won the second game, in a thrilling come from behind victory. The two teams will face off again in January for their last meeting of the year in Arizona. As for UCO and Ohio, Stony Brook will not play either team unless they faceoff in the 2014-2015 National Tournament. After being on the road the last two weekends of the first half of the year, the Seawolves will host Liberty University, Saturday January 10th at 8:30pm and Sunday January 11th at 12:00pm. Saturday night is also the Seawolves Skate for Autism fundraiser and Sunday is a fundraiser for Angela’s House. Come down cheer on the Seawolves and contribute to a great cause. Go Seawolves!!
